As a pioneer in the temporary shoring rental business for road construction,
we support the construction industry with our own technical expertise and a nationwide support network, helping our customers achieve both "safety" and "cost reduction."
Strength 01
In-house Technology
Development
Based on a technology license from ThyssenKrupp of Germany, we developed in-house our own system shoring "RöRo Series," optimized for Japanese construction sites. With three load-rating types — S-10, S-50 and S-140 — we meet a wide range of needs, from lightweight buildings to ultra-heavy civil structures.
Because every component is systematized, no on-site welding is required. Bolt-and-pin connections enable safe and rapid construction.
Strength 02
Product Development
that Meets Needs
A product lineup born from our customers' on-site challenges. We offer many original products developed from the voices of the field, such as the "Steel Clamp Tometaro," which quickly fixes H-beams, and the "Stiffener Jack," which reinforces beam webs against buckling.
"PLAROAD," a simple temporary road for farmland and soft ground, is highly regarded in the field as a new-generation product that combines environmental consideration with constructability.
Strength 03
Nationwide
Support Network
Centered on our Osaka head office, we operate three branches in Tokyo, Nagoya and Kyushu, and four factories in Osaka, Tokyo, Kyushu and Hokkaido — a structure that lets us respond quickly to sites anywhere in Japan.
For the temporary steel materials that accompany RöRo shoring plans — such as earth-retaining materials and decking panels — we provide one-stop service from design through delivery. By using leased materials wherever possible, apart from consumables such as bolts, we achieve lower costs and effective use of resources. Combining economy with environmental consideration is a strength unique to Hirose Giken.
Strength 04
Track Record in
Large-Scale Projects
From large buildings such as the Tokyo International Forum, Nagoya Dome and the Izu Velodrome, to large-scale civil infrastructure such as the Second Tomei Expressway and the Honshu–Shikoku Bridge Awaji route, RöRo shoring has been adopted in many of Japan's leading projects.
Strength 05
Over 40 Years of
Experience
More than 40 years have passed since we introduced RöRo shoring in 1985. The experience and know-how cultivated at countless sites enable us to offer the best proposals to our customers. Even in the Great Hanshin Earthquake, RöRo shoring withstood the disaster at a site near the epicenter, proving its reliability.
With abundant experience and knowledge built over many years, we provide powerful technical support to our customers.
