HS Truss is a product of HIROSE & CO., LTD.
A truss-structure girder used as a large-span beam member for concrete formwork shoring on elevated bridges. Compared with conventional H-steel girders, it can span greater distances, contributing to greater construction freedom and efficiency. All main members are bolted, making erection and dismantling easy.
Because the truss bearing point is on the upper-chord side, stability during erection, dismantling and movement is high. Even though it spans long distances, each single unit is at most 6 m long, so it can be transported on an ordinary truck. There are few joints and they are connected with pins and bolts, making assembly and dismantling simple.
By combining standard single units, the HS Truss girder length can be set from 13.5 to 24.0 m in 0.5 m increments. Depending on the load conditions, lengths of up to about 26.0 m are possible. The side-by-side spacing is a minimum of 0.46 m, with the next option being 1 m.
By fitting high rollers to the bearing points of the HS Truss and moving it along the HS Truss support girders, lateral movement and dismantling for the inbound and outbound lanes can be carried out smoothly. As for capacity, the number of rows and the side-by-side spacing can be increased or decreased, enabling an economical design suited to the load conditions.
