When farmland is leased and a temporary road is built by conventional methods, mixed-in soil, crushed stone and waste materials cannot be completely removed even after restoring the original condition, which can later lead to disputes with the landowner. PLAROAD uses none of these materials, making it an environmentally friendly method.
The body units have a load-distributing structure, and arranging them in a staggered (zigzag) layout creates a reassuringly stable structure that allows large dump trucks and 50 t rough-terrain cranes to drive over it. Moreover, even on soft ground it can prevent extreme settlement and consolidation of the existing ground.
